Medical Affairs Manager – Growing Pharma Company

A rapidly growing speciality pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a Medical Affairs Manager to join the team at their Reading office. This company has been established for over 4 years and has built a solid commercial operation in the UK. The company prides itself on employing the most talented individuals and offers a fantastic working environment in their fine offices. As the Medical Affairs Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing Medical Affairs activities, with particular reference to developing and maintaining a knowledge base for the company’s commercial and development products, and providing technical expertise, support and training to cross-functional teams. Some of your core duties will include;
•Managing, maintaining and improvement of the Medical Information Service.
•Participating in the identification and development of relationships with key opinion leaders and other external professionals.
•Supporting Marketing Team’s activities with advisory boards
•Supporting for the company’s Pharmacovigilance service
•Providing medical support and advice for clinical development programs
•Providing input into promotional campaigns from concept design to final sign off
•Developing training materials and delivery of training
•Providing Medical Affairs support to Business Development activities

Suitable candidates will need to have experience of working in a Medical department. You will have experience in Medical Information activities and have experienced some involvement in Pharmacovigilance activities. You should also have a detailed knowledge of the ABPI code of practice and it’s implementation.
