PROCESS CHEMICAL ENGINEER

As a member of the Engineering Design Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of quality design solutions on time and to budget.

A Chartered Engineer and member of an appropriate professional Engineering Institute, you will be qualified to degree level minimum in a Chemical/Process Engineering discipline.

You will also have experience of undertaking conceptual and basic design, installation, commissioning and maintenance requirements of a regulated site (including nuclear and specialist chemical implications). v54a

PROCESS ENGINEER

As a Process Engineer, you will provide technical support to the process managers for the development of pyrochemicals and support processes associated with actinide metal recovery.

Qualified to degree level in an engineering chemical processing discipline or related scientific discipline, you will have knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and an understanding of manufacturing and process technology including planning and control. Knowledge of IRR and NII licensing regulations is desirable but not essential as is an understanding of fissile processing plant operations.

You must have good written and oral communication skills in order to produce/review documentation and represent the section at relevant technical and assurance committees.
You will also have good project management skills. v54b
