Market leading Drug Discovery Company has a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Consultant to join their world class consulting team. The successful candidate will concentrate on helping to implement and support my client’s cutting edge products and services to the health care industry. The Technical Consultant will work closely with customers and project team members to help implement solutions that include installation and configuration alongside performing data and systems integration
Specific job responsibilities include:
• Scoping business requirements and business process modeling
• Designing and prototyping applications and/or application interfaces
• Implementing and testing applications and/or application interfaces
• Training
• Systems administration activities such as performance tuning, data management, etc.
• Leadership with mentoring on small Consulting projects
Technical Consultants will be measured on their ability to be utilised on current project assignments, to deliver pre-defined projects, and to meet customer satisfaction, project revenue, and margin goals.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Computer Science or relevant discipline with previous experience in a consulting role preferably with a professional services firm. It is essential you have a solid technical background with experience in the following: Oracle, UNIX, NT, SQL, C++, Java, ASP, .net, XML, VB scripting. To succeed in this role you must have strong interpersonal and presentation skills alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills.
