ELECTRO-EXPLOSIVES ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

You will support a team concerned with Research & Development into electro-explosives initiation trains. This work will include handling different types of explosives & explosive filled articles, the design & production of electronic circuits, deploying diagnostics & data capture.

Qualified to HND or degree level in physics or a related discipline, you must be computer literate & have good written & verbal communication skills.

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING ENGINEER

You will undertake &/or support laboratory experiments & formal trials.

Qualified to HNC/HND or Degree level in a relevant engineering or science subject, or with equivalent experience, you will be a member of a relevant professional engineering institution or be committed to achieving relevant registration status. V52b

HIGH VOLTAGE COMPONENTS TEST TECHNICIAN/ENGINEER

Become a member of a small team concerned with the research & development of specialised high voltage component technologies. This post concentrates on the test & assessment of specialised firing unit components, particularly Triggered Vacuum Gaps (TVGs) & high voltage high reliability capacitors.

Qualified to HNC level in an Electrical, Electronics discipline, you will have some experience in the design & development of electronic/electrical systems or components. V52c

WARHEAD ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

You will be responsible for the layout & construction of electronics hardware for use in Warhead Electrical System (WES) sub-assemblies/related items, & the provision of design support.

Qualified to ONC level or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline, you will have a recognized apprenticeship & of experience of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design/layout & /or electronics manufacture. V52d
